Lush PopCorn Lipscrub, My Lip Lifesaver.

For Years I have been waking up with rough, dry lips, with little bits of skin that you could peel off but would hurt when you did. Forever hoping that vaseline would soon sort it out or a little exfoliation with the toothbrush, would cure all my lip problems.
Thankfully my lovely sister introduced me to Lush's Lip Scrub! When she brought it home I couldn't help but have a little try of it. I was amazed at how gentle it was on my poor lifeless lips. The texture is like finely milled salt, that's soft and embedded with moisture. The sweet popcorn smell is also incredible and gives me that extra bit of joy when applying it to my lips.
The best part for me...it's reasonably priced at just under £5 natural ingredients & cruelty free! If your lips, have their struggles like mine did, I Highly recommend this product. My lips still get a little rough and flaky but not as often and I now have this little pot of beauty to instantly make them smooth and revived.

My New puppy!

Wow I forgot how time consuming these gorgeous things are. When we got our first dog she was virtually house trained so it didn't seem as hard, plus she was naturally quite good, wasn't a chewer at all so from what I can remember (with it being 5 years ago) It was quite a breeze.
Minnie However our new pup is a little in the opposite direction. She's very clever, toilet trained, she won't go over thresholds (doors) which is amazing and she's learning tricks really well....she's just a little too crazy for our other dog which is causing little problems. So Apparently getting same sex dogs is a bad idea, as they find it very hard to get along. Saying that however we are seeing improvement as the days go on between the two doggies, which is heart warming and great to witness the progress especially as our first dog Maisie as hasn't really socialised with other dogs, so I can see why this is really hard for her. The Key is to keep everything positive and only interrupt the play fighting if necessary. Maisie needs to mother her and put her in her place and this is normal behaviour.
For what us humans see as unreasonable behaviour or when we can recognise to tolerate someone we don't like, Dogs cannot see these reasonings and even with lovely temperaments instincts will kick in. They literally have to learn how to socialise, which is tough. There's growling, Stealing each others chews, eating each others food, Very tough for Maisie as for 5 years everything has been just hers. I really hope that they can be best buds in the end! Have you got any Tips and Tricks for helping them get along?

Finding a career to enjoy.

As a young person in life, in this generation, there're so many different routes and opportunities out there that it is quite overwhelming for young adults like me to find the right path to follow. Now my view on a career may be different to many others, but I want a career that I'm truly going to enjoy doing whilst still living an exciting life. I don't just want a job that I need to do the pay the bills and my happiness comes second. But how do I find this? At the moment I'm working part-time as a host/waitress in a restaurant but whilst it's good pay, working for someone else, for a company isn't my passion..Just isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to live life and enjoy it, explore everything in this beautiful world. I hate the fact that we're given this one opportunity of life and we have to spend it in some cases working our arses off for so little. Why are we restricted by money which is literally paper and bits of metal? Why does this have to define our limitations in life. I've been dancing since I was little and the enjoyment it gives me is really satisfying. After high school, I decided to take my dance training further, so I went to study at a vocational college doing dance and musical theatre. Unfortunately I had to pull out after my 2nd year due to injuries on both of my knees. I have been advised by my doctor to change careers as my anatomy of my body isn't suited to this lifestyle. This was devastating news as I felt so useless and like a failure to my own life. But I guess it could also be a little blessing in disguise, as the career is very unstable and how you can be treated in the industry can be quite upsetting too, your jobs are decided on the way you look, your size, your alignment, all the unnecessary personal things like that. Which for me and my insecurities wouldn't bring me happiness. So what now? I feel lost and pressured into finding a stable highly paid job, with no further qualifications as of yet than GCSE's, there's little chance I can get that sort of pay. I wanted to right this post just incase anyone else out there is feeling the same way. Or have been through the same thing and could give me some advice? At the moment I'm exploring many options of self employment creating and selling my own products, such as personalised candles, wine glasses and anything else I can think of with the help of my mothers business ( personalised printing ). I'll find my perfect career one day, I just hope it's sooner rather than later!

All Urban Decay Naked Pallets Lived up to expectations!

The hype about these pallets never seem to die down. And i'm not surprised as they're bloody brilliant!
I've watched beauty videos on YouTube for about 5 or 6 years now and thats where I first heard about these pallets. I immediately wanted one so bad, I was willing to save up weeks of pocket money just to get one. However I got impatient and browsed around the internet for cheaper prices. Of course eBay came up and little did I know that fakes were possible. So yes foolishly I ordered a fake...at first. I mean apart from the cheap smell of it and the lack of pigmentation, the shadows still worked out to be okishh. That ok that I wasn't too bothered about sending it back, plus I was going to London shortly after for that Lipsy competition I've mentioned in a previous post so I really wanted to take a neutral pallet with me and that was the only one I had
But having used that fake and now having all the real pallets, I feel I can properly appreciate the true brilliance of these pallets. The Design of the pallets alone are so gorgeous and elegant, each filled which a generous amount of stunning eyeshadows which truly will suit everybody's skin tones and eye colours. I never ever get bored of these pallets. Everyday I look forward to using them, mixing different colours to create a different look depending on my plans for the day or my mood.
If you ever had to own one pallet, it would definitely have to be one of these beauties, to me they're just perfection.
IF I had to choose a favourite.... As much as I love them all dearly, I think I'd choose Naked 3, but then I really love the Original Naked  & Naked 2 pallet too... gosh so hard. It's like picking a favourite chocolate, impossible for a chocoholic like myself! Buuut Yeah. Well done Urban Decay and thank you for bringing these glorious products into our lives! PLEASE BRING OUT MORE! :)

Meeting JLS and Peter Andre!

So here is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
After having a pretty poopy time earlier on that year, when this opportunity came along, nothing was stopping me, not even college! I  can still remember getting the phone call now, I was out in a bar in Leeds with my college friends having a good time preparing for a night out. My sister called me informing me on a competition that we had won.
I had no idea at all that she had even entered us into a competition so I was really really shocked to find out, yet so incredibly excited the more she told me about it.
Lipsy held a competition on Facebook for their Launch of the new Lipsy London Love fragrance, the competition consisted of posting a photo to their Facebook page of you wearing Lipsy Clothing.
Me and Sarah and our parents ( Sarah my sister, Right on the picture ) had just had a joint birthday party celebrating my 18th, her 21st and my mums and dads 50ths....all the big ones eh!
So for this Celebration me and Sarah both wore Lipsy Dresses, as we just adore the store, so with Sarah seeing Lipsy's competition she entered us with one of the pictures taken that evening.
The one posted below. (I'm on the Left and Sarah is on the Right )

The other winners were chosen by the people who got the most votes on Facebook, However, Little did we know there were also a team of judges who were to pick a photo they loved too. And we were that vote!!
The Prize.
We got a Weekend stay at The Millennium Hotel  in London Mayfair, all travel was arranged an paid for.
We also received £250 in Lipsy Vouchers and a Lipsy Watch
A Spa Day at Sanctuary, Sanctuary Goodie bag.
And VIP Invitations to the Lipsy London Love launch party were we got to meet, party and have a picture taken with JLS.
JLS were doing the DJ set at the party so it was really cool, you could get up close, interact with them and everything, there was no barriers or anything, it was such an amazing night.
Along with JLS being there, Stars of TOWIE - The Only Way Is Essex, MIC - Made In Chelsea, Hollyoaks, and even the likes of  Loucien Laviscount & DJ Ironik were there.
I can clearly say I took every opportunity I could to get pictures with them!
All the Pictures are on my Instagram @abbierigbyxx

But yeah definitely one of the BEST nights of my life to date, as you can imagine. Would LOVE to relive it.
Sooo How did I meet Peter Andre Your Wondering?
This one was definitely a Right Place, Right Time Kind of thing.
We were waiting for our transport to the Lipsy Launch Party in the hotels lobby, when I saw Peter Andre just casually walk through the room. My eyes sprung open and my jaw literally dropped. I quickly glanced to see if Sarah had seen him too. I stood up, thinking 'We can't not get a photo'.
So I ordered Sarah to follow me, casually caught up with Mr Andre as he was about to get into a blacked out Car, politely got his attention and said " Hellooo, I'm really sorry to bother you but is it ok if we could get a picture with you?"
Petre Andre Kindly Responded with " Of course you can, how can I say no you girls looking so lovely" walking back towards us.
Wow. It was fair to say my heart nearly stopped and was amazed this wasn't a dream.
So we got a picture and he asked us were we were going to and we explained. He was ever so lovely,  a really nice genuine man! Favourite celebrity I've met so far!
I then Tweeted him like a proud Fan girl, and he replied back, got that photo on my Instagram too, just completed the amazing night.
And that's Pretty Much It. The best Experience of my life. Lived, Over
and treasured always.

Lucious Lush Cosmetics!

Lush Cosmetics!

I must be very late on the band wagon here, but it was only recently that I discovered Lush's Makeup Line. Now being a fan of Natural, cruelty free products, I couldn't wait to try to them! Although I have these two lush products, The Fresh Handmade Liquid Eyeliner and Conditioning Mascara, I can't take credit for Purchasing them as my lovely boyfriend surprised me with both <3

They actually had a really good range of products and colours in there, I was pleasantly surprised.I adored how the whole section set up, It was so cute, I loved how they had the disposable applicators for the eyes and lip products. Very Hygienic and Top Top Quality.
Of course I was a bit sceptical about the products at first, but knowing the quality of their other products I had great faith that these wouldn't disappoint.

I asked one of the workers there how long lasting the eyeliner was. He replied by saying the liquid eyeliner stays on all day and stays true to it's colour. So after seeing the free to use applicators I couldn't resist trying it out. (The amount of product you get in the eyeliner is amazing too compared to the others out there) So I applied the tester and off around the other shops I went. Hours passed and the hand mirror came out. I was both shocked and pleased with the results. It hadn't budged or faded in the slightest! So it passed my test and the products were purchased. The Conditioning Mascara is lovely, really lightweight, black, not clumpy at all and it really is conditioning!
I love having these two products in my kit, they really complete my everyday makeup.
Happy Happy Girl!
